What “Drives” Me

After being a driving instructor for over 9 years, I felt the need to take a more personal approach to helping students become successful, safe and effective drivers. Driving is a life skill and if students don’t learn how to be a safe driver now, then they become a danger on the road for everyone else for the rest of their life.

Being a teacher has taught me that all students are at a different level and a cookie cutter lesson plan doesn’t work for each student. I first assess in the first lesson their steering techniques, braking and acceleration capabilities a long with their general knowledge of right of way concepts. From their I am able to instill confidence and challenge them according to their skill level.
